水是生命之源，卻也是沙漠中最稀缺的存在，無論是湖泊還是泉眼，在這個場域中都被賦予無與倫比的神性，在歷史上，敦煌是佛法東傳的重要節點，然而在今日，這種源於大地理的精神信仰的空間已經隨科技與旅游業的發展漸漸消逝。

所以， 我想在沙漠中做一口井，物理上，他可以給旅行者提供必要的水的補充，并且在風暴來襲時，為旅行者提供庇護，精神上，我希望它成爲敦煌這座千年古城神聖性的延續。
